Health data

Through robust community health research, Aurora Health Care hospitals develop thorough and reliable Community Health Needs Assessment reports (CHNAs) every three years. These CHNAs are anchored by a core set of quantitative and qualitative data sources:

  • Community Health Survey Reports (primary, quantitative) presenting findings from telephone or online surveys of residents in the defined area
  • Secondary Source Data (quantitative) outlining demographic and health-related information for the defined area
  • Key Informant Interview Reports (qualitative) summarizing insights from interviews with leaders in public health, education and non-profit health and human services
