Open house celebration set for Sept. 25
Aurora Health Care has opened the newest Wilkinson Clinic in Dousman. The 4,085-square-foot clinic is at the corner of Highway 67 and Venture Drive, just south of Highway 18.
An open house celebration is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25. The public is invited to tour the clinic, participate in free health screenings, visit with staff and enjoy refreshments.
The primary care clinic will be staffed by Jeffrey Gaver, MD, and advanced practice registered nurse Carol Millman, MSN.
Dr. Gaver is board certified in emergency medicine as well as internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison and has lived most of his life in western Waukesha County. Dr.
``I’m happy we will be able to serve our many Dousman patients closer to home at this new clinic. We hope to be able to become a valuable addition to the community,`` Gaver said.
Millman is board-certified in adult and geriatric medicine with a subspecialty in women’s health. She has extensive experience in critical, urgent and primary care, as well as lipid, diabetic and other chronic illness management. She earned her master of science degree in nursing from Marquette University.
``My philosophy of care is to work as a team with my patient, concentrating on health promotion and maintenance,`` said Millman, who lives in Delafield.
Wilkinson Clinic is part of Aurora Health Care, a not-for-profit Wisconsin health care provider and a nationally recognized leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. Aurora offers services at sites in 80 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin.
