Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Associates offer health care scholarshipsThursday, March 29, 2007
Application deadline is April 13
Students who are residents of Walworth County and pursuing a post-secondary course of study in health care are eligible for scholarships through Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. The hospital is offering two $1,000 scholarships.
To qualify, the student must be a junior or senior if enrolled in a bachelor's degree program. Students enrolled in technical, certificate or associate degree programs must be entering their final year. Graduate students are also encouraged to apply. Deadline for applications is April 13, 2007.
"Supporting students interested in pursuing a career in health care is part of our mission,'' said Connie Herrick, regional manager, volunteer services, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. "The need for nurses, radiology technicians, physicians, and pharmacists continues to grow."
