Clinic set to open July 24

Brooke (Young) Birling, valedictorian of Clintonville High School's 2002 graduating class, is returning home to care for area residents' primary health care needs. Birling, who holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, will lead the new clinic.

"I am so excited to be giving something back to this community," said Birling, who lives on a nearby dairy farm with her husband. "I look forward to caring for people and helping them live long, healthy lives."

The new 4,000-square-foot, 1-story clinic at 545 S. Main St. will open July 24. It is located near Fox Valley Technical College on the corner of Highway 45 and Campus Drive. The clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Fridays. Same-day appointments will be available.

It will offer primary care for patients of all ages. Preventive care and immunizations will also be offered at the clinic. X-rays, blood tests and urine analysis can be taken at the clinic as well as in-office results for tests such as pregnancy, strep throat and mononucleosis.

Also on staff are practical nurse Dana White and Holly Worzella, a radiologic technologist. Worzella is also the customer service representative and lab technician.

White graduated with honors from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Shawano as a practical nurse. She was born and raised in Marion, which is just northwest of Clintonville. Currently, Dana lives in Clintonville with her fiancé.

Worzella has more than 2 years of medical experience at a clinic in Wisconsin Rapids. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Radiography in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

To make an appointment, patients can call 715-823-4433. An open house will be scheduled in the fall.

Gregrey Hiltgen, MD, who is based at the Aurora Health Center in Shawano, will oversee the Clintonville site.
