Aurora BayCare Medical Center Offers Sports Physicals for High School Athletes

Student athletes participating in Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) sports can now register for a sports physical and assessment at Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center that includes:

  • A full health screening by a physician.
  • An evaluation of any muscle/skeletal issues by an orthopedic surgeon, if needed.
  • A variety of interactive stations to measure flexibility and strength.
  • A video-based program to diagnose students who may be at risk for ACL injuries.
  • A functional assessment.

Sports physicals are available on July 14, 15 or 16 and August 5, 6 or 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. each day. Appointments will be held at the new Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center located at 1160 Kepler Drive next to Aurora BayCare Medical Center in the Interstate 43 Business Park on Green Bay’s east side. The sports physicals meet school and WIAA requirements. A $30 fee for the sports physical will be donated to the student’s athletic club or school’s athletic department.

Students should dress in shorts and gym shoes and bring their sports card. A parent or guardian must accompany the athlete or sign a parental consent form. Forms can be downloaded at
