Aurora Health Care Announces Free Community Education Event to Focus on LASIK SurgeryFriday, September 05, 2008
Two Rivers, Wis. - Aurora Health Care will host a community education program called "LASIK Surgery," at 6 p.m. on Sept. 16 in the second floor conference room at Aurora Health Center, 5300 Memorial Drive, in Two Rivers.
"Many people who wear contact lenses have complications and find them inconvenient," said Ophthalmologist Joseph Feder, M.D., of Aurora Health Care. "LASIK is another option to help patients feel more comfortable and avoid contact lens discomfort and recurring infections."
During the event, a post-LASIK patient will be present to discuss his life-changing experience with the surgery. Feder will explain LASIK, discuss the latest news about the procedure, and answer questions.
This community education event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is appreciated by calling (920) 793-7500.
