Aurora BayCare Offers Free Cholesterol Screening Through FebruaryMonday, February 02, 2009
Green Bay, Wis. - Aurora BayCare Medical Center is offering a free screening that tests cholesterol levels, blood sugar, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) now through Feb. 27 to raise awareness for February's American Heart Month.
High blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity are risk factors for stroke and heart disease, which is the No. 1 killer of men and women.
Weekday appointments are available at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, 2845 Greenbrier Road, in Green Bay. A 12-hour fast is required.
To schedule an appointment, call 920-288-4610 during normal business hours. Those interested can also leave a voicemail after-hours and someone will call back to schedule an appointment.
You do not need to be a patient to participate. Results can be sent to your health care provider.
