Free Diabetes Screening Offered at Aurora's Diabetes Alert Day in Two RiversThursday, March 12, 2009
Two Rivers, Wis. - Aurora Health Center, 5300 Memorial Drive, in Two Rivers will offer free diabetes screenings and blood pressure checks on Tuesday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in honor of the American Diabetes Association's 21st Annual American Diabetes Alert Day.
Aurora Pharmacist Sam Vang and Certified Diabetes Educators Cathy Henrickson and Maureen Puls will be on hand to answer questions about diabetes. Pharmaceutical representatives will also be available to discuss their products for diabetes patients.
The event will take place at Aurora Pharmacy located inside Aurora Health Center in Two Rivers.

The American Diabetes Alert Day was created to generate awareness about the seriousness of diabetes and to encourage people to see if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
