Banaszynski receives ACHE's Regent's Senior-Level Healthcare Executive AwardFriday, September 24, 2010
Milwaukee, Wi. – Gregory Banaszynski, FACHE, recently received the 2010 American College of Healthcare Executives Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent's Award at the American College of Healthcare Executives Wisconsin Chapter Annual Meeting in Madison.
Banaszynski is executive vice president of Aurora Health Care’s mid-market group, and a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Notably, he was part of the original team that organized the Wisconsin Chapter of ACHE, and he served as the chapter's president in 2006 and 2007. During his tenure as president, the Wisconsin Chapter of ACHE achieved the distinction of “Designated Status.”
Banaszynski has held previous executive leadership roles with Synergy Health, Midwest Dialysis Center in Fort Atkinson, and St. Francis Hospital. He holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s of business administration degree from Florida State University. He is the recipient of the 2007 UWMilwaukee Distinguished Alumnae Award.
In addition, he has served or currently serves on the advisory board to the UW-Milwaukee health care program, the Wisconsin Hospital Association's Council on Public Policy, the Sheboygan County Economic Development Council, and he was the 2007 Chair of the Washington County Heart Walk.
