$30,765 Presented to Aurora Cancer Care - Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora Medical Center in OshkoshMonday, June 10, 2013
Oshkosh, WI — Aurora Cancer Care – Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh received $30,765 to support patients battling cancer. The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation presented the check during its annual recognition breakfast on April 19, 2013.
The check included matching funds from Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and proceeds raised by participants of last year’s Aurora 5K Walk/Run for Cancer.
“Thanks to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation’s generous match, we can continue to provide hope and exceptional care to everyone who hears the words ‘you have cancer’ at our Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Oshkosh,” said Sara Alger, director of development at Aurora Health Care Foundation. “The thoughtful donations make it possible to impact lives and bring healing and hope to patients and their families.”
Last year’s proceeds helped enhance the services received by cancer patients at the Aurora Cancer Care – Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, including survivorship materials, transportation to and from treatments, and comfort items to improve the patient experience.
