New Aurora Clinics Now Open in Kenosha - Community Event Scheduled for June 28

Kenosha, Wis. – Aurora Health Care is celebrating the opening of two new medical facilities in Kenosha: Aurora Cancer Care and Aurora Health Center. To launch this expansion of health services and to give the community an opportunity to tour the facilities, a grand opening will be held at the clinics on Saturday, June 28.

Aurora caregivers from the side-by-side facilities, at 6811 and 6815 118th Avenue, opened their doors and began seeing patients earlier this month.

Aurora Cancer Care’s 38,000 square foot facility offers:

  • Medical oncology
  • Radiation oncology
  • Laboratory services

Services at Aurora Health Center include:

  • Aurora Comprehensive Pain Management Program
  • Ophthalmology Center
  • Aurora Vision Center
  • Retina Services

“We are excited to begin our next chapter in health care in the Kenosha area with the opening of the new Aurora Health Center and Aurora Cancer Care locations,” said Doug Koch, president of Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. “These facilities were specifically designed to be centered on the patient. This development will increase access for those seeking care, especially for those patients fighting cancer.”

10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

  • Ribbon-cutting ceremony, Aurora Cancer Care entrance

10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

  • Meet the physicians and staff
  • Tour the new facilities and enjoy interactive health presentations on:
    • Oncology
    • Pain management
    • Ophthalmology
    • Vision care

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • Get signed autographs from former Milwaukee Brewers Jim Gantner and Gorman Thomas from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Meet Kenosha Kingfish players, manager Duffy Dyer and team mascot King Elvis from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
