Three Aurora Hospitals Recognized in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

Milwaukee – U.S. News & World Report has recognized three Aurora Health Care hospitals in its 2014-15 Best Hospitals rankings, available online at:

The annual rankings showcase more than 700 hospitals out of about 5,000 hospitals nationwide. Each Aurora hospital is ranked among the country's top hospitals in at least two medical specialties as a Top 50 or High Performer.

This year Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, in Milwaukee, ranks among the top 50 hospitals in the nation in five specialties: cardiology and heart surgery, gastroenterology, diabetes and endocrinology, geriatrics and pulmonology. The hospital also ranks as a high performer in neurology and neurosurgery, cancer, ENT, gynecology, nephrology, orthopedics and urology.

Aurora West Allis Medical Center was also recognized with eight high-performing specialties: gynecology, gastroenterology, cancer, geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.

Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay was recognized as a high performer in orthopedics and urology. For the fourth year in a row, Aurora BayCare ranked as the top hospital in northeastern Wisconsin.
