If you’re taking multiple medications, or you want to better understand your medications, a comprehensive medication review (CMR) session at Aurora Pharmacy can help. We sit down with you one-on-one or over the phone to answer your questions and address any concerns you have. Consultations typically last 15 to 45 minutes depending on how many prescriptions and questions you have.

During a comprehensive medication review session, your pharmacist covers your prescription basics. For example, we discuss the reason you’re taking each medication and any possible side effects that could occur. We also help you understand your payment options and make sure you get your refills on time.

We help with your entire medication regimen

Sometimes, you need a little more help managing your prescriptions. During a comprehensive medication review, we go over your entire medication list and listen to your questions and concerns. We make sure you get the information you need to feel comfortable with your prescriptions.

If you’re having medication side effects, we offer suggestions for taking your prescription in a different way. We can contact your doctor to change the dose or type of medication you’re taking, if needed. At the end of your visit, you receive an updated medication list.
